Important Upcoming Great Places Dates
May 5th, 2009
- June 19th at 4:30pm, Friday, is the deadline for grant applications of existing projects for the designated 2006, 2007 and 2008 Great Places;
- August 10th, 4;30pm, Monday, is the deadline for applying for new 2009 Great Places formal applications for all places that have coaches assigned;
- July 24th, Friday, is the announcement of the grant awards for fiscal year 2010;
- August 27th, Thursday, is the announcement of the finalists for the 2009 Great Places designation;
- September 28-30th, is the Citizens Advisory Board bus tour across Iowa to visit the 2009 finalists for the designation of Great Places
