Work Plan Development

Once selected, each Great Place is asked to produce a work plan that outlines the major activities and associated costs (if applicable) for each project in their Great Places proposal.  This work plan, along with update reports, is used to monitor progress.  Additionally, the work plans are distributed to State agencies to see how they could assist in project development either through technical or financial assistance.

These work plans also serve as the basis for presentations that each Great Place makes to State agencies in November of each year.  These presentations inform each agency of proposed projects and allow the agencies to brainstorm ways in which they can collaborate to make the projects a reality.
