Guttenberg is a community defined by abundant natural resources, including the Mississippi River.  As such, the projects within Guttenberg’s Great Places proposal focus on the development of the riverfront along this stretch of the Mississippi River.  This development includes the creation of a new downtown marina, the construction of a shoreline trail, and the creation of educational kiosks to educate visitors about the rich natural resources that surround this Iowa Great Place.
